The Australian Government has recently launched a new phone advice line available to Australian Job Seekers who have been affected by the global financial crisis. Under the government’s Keep Australia Working strategy, the hotline is just one of a range of strategies aimed at helping to protect jobs and support businesses in the current economic climate.
The Career Advice Telephone Service is available to the Australian public with priority access given to young people, adult workers and/or job seekers impacted by the Global Recession. The is a free and confidential service you can access by calling 13 17 64 (8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday) or visit Keep Australia Working.
