Six Figures recently surveyed over 100 high salary earners of which 75% said that they would take a salary cut to be able to do a job they are capable of doing that is different to what they have done in their past working career.
So what are the reasons that prevent us from making more job and career changes? Is it our partners who have grown accustomed to a certain lifestyle that they are reluctant to change? Or is it that businesses don’t offer enough opportunities for job seekers to be considered for job opportunities that are different to what they have done in the past? Perhaps it is our own lack of confidence to back ourselves and give something new a go! What if we fail and all the other What If’s can start creeping in.
